Multi-method Communication Webinar: Incorporating Persons with Intellectual Disabilities in the Decision Making Process presented by Christopher Longtin, MA, Sociology, Carleton University. To best include individuals with intellectual dis/abilities in decision-making, we must rethink how the decision making process occurs and the communication methods it engages. The presenter reviews this process and, through the example of visual communication methods, suggests a number of ways decision-making might be diversified and more inclusionary.
